1.Working principle
Based on the Coriolis effect, when fluid flows in a vibrating pipeline, a Coriolis force proportional to the mass flow rate is generated.
The pipeline generates periodic vibrations, and the movement of the fluid causes a phase difference on both sides of the pipeline. The mass flow rate is calculated by detecting the phase difference.
2.Structural composition
Measuring tube: U-shaped, straight or other special shapes, it is the core component that generates the Coriolis effect, and the material needs to be corrosion-resistant and pressure resistant.
Vibration excitation system: drives the measuring tube to vibrate at a specific frequency.
Sensors: Used to detect vibration signals of measuring tubes, including speed sensors and phase sensors.
Signal processing unit: amplifies, filters, and performs calculations on the signals detected by sensors, and finally outputs parameters such as mass flow rate and density.
3.Advantages
High precision measurement: It can directly measure mass flow rate without being affected by changes in physical parameters such as fluid temperature, pressure, density, viscosity, etc. The measurement accuracy is high, generally reaching ± 0.1% - ± 0.5%.
Multi parameter measurement: It can not only measure mass flow rate, but also simultaneously measure parameters such as fluid density, volume flow rate, and temperature, achieving multifunctional measurement.
Advantages of straight tube design: Some Coriolis mass flowmeters with straight tube structure have the characteristics of low pressure loss and easy blockage, which are suitable for measuring high viscosity fluids containing solid particles.
Bidirectional measurement: It can achieve bidirectional flow measurement and meet the measurement needs under different working conditions.

5.Installation points
Ensure that the measuring tube is filled with the measured fluid to avoid gas accumulation, and the installation position should ensure that the fluid flows from bottom to top or is installed horizontally.
Stay away from vibration sources and strong electromagnetic interference environments to prevent external interference from affecting measurement accuracy.
Sufficient space should be reserved during installation for later maintenance and repair.
6.Maintenance and Calibration
Regularly inspect the measuring tube for corrosion, wear, or blockage, and promptly clean up impurities inside the pipeline.
Calibrate the flowmeter according to the prescribed cycle, using either real flow calibration or static calibration methods to ensure measurement accuracy.
