The advantages of the input type liquid level gauge are summarized as follows:
1. Simple measurement principle and strong applicability
Based on the principle of static pressure design, it does not require complex mechanical structures and is insensitive to physical properties such as viscosity, color, and transparency of liquid media. It is suitable for liquid level measurement of various liquids such as water, oil, and acid-base liquids.
It can be directly put into liquid for use, especially suitable for liquid level monitoring in open containers, underground water tanks, deep wells and other scenarios.
2. Easy installation and maintenance
Flexible installation method: Simply immerse the probe vertically into the liquid and connect it to the display instrument or control system through a cable, without the need for additional openings or complex debugging.
Maintenance free design: No mechanical moving parts, less prone to wear or blockage, high long-term stability, and low maintenance costs.
3. High and stable measurement accuracy
By using high-precision pressure-sensitive components (such as diffused silicon sensors) and signal conditioning circuits, the measurement accuracy can reach ± 0.2% FS~± 1% FS (FS is the full range).
Strong anti-interference ability, can effectively suppress the influence of factors such as temperature drift and electromagnetic interference on measurement results, and has small fluctuations in long-term operation data.
4. Wide range and fast response speed
The range coverage is wide, ranging from tens of centimeters to tens of meters (such as 0-2m to 0-50m), meeting the liquid level measurement needs of different scenarios.
Sensors are sensitive to pressure changes, and the signal processing circuit calculates liquid level data in real time. The response time is usually in milliseconds, which can achieve real-time monitoring of dynamic changes in liquid level.
5. High cost-effectiveness
The structure is simple, the manufacturing process is mature, and compared to non-contact instruments such as radar level gauges and ultrasonic level gauges, the cost is lower.
Integrated design reduces installation accessories and construction costs, making it suitable for large-scale applications or cost sensitive scenarios such as small and medium-sized water plants and sewage treatment tanks.
6. Diverse signal outputs and good compatibility
Supports multiple standard signal outputs (such as 4-20mA current signals, 0-5V voltage signals, RS485 digital signals, etc.), making it easy to connect to PLC, DCS systems, or IoT platforms.
It can be matched with display instruments to display real-time liquid level values, and can also be remotely monitored through wireless transmission modules to meet automation control requirements.
7. Strong corrosion resistance and reliability
The probe material can be selected from corrosion-resistant materials such as stainless steel and polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE), which are suitable for harsh environments such as strong acids and alkalis.
Fully sealed design (with a protection level of up to IP68), capable of long-term immersion in liquids and adapting to complex working conditions such as high temperature, high pressure, and humidity.
8. Compact size, saving space
The probe has a compact volume (usually a cylindrical slender structure) and can be installed in narrow spaces or small-diameter containers without occupying too many installation positions.
